Astropolis has a small (3 m) and a large (6 m) observation dome, a small (30 m²) and a large (224 m²) exhibition space, two technical rooms, a workshop (with storage space), an auditorium (54 places). , a workshop space (25 places) and a cafeteria (with kitchen and toilets). The ‘Lemaitre’ auditorium has 54 cozy seats (+ 4 places for wheelchair users). The first four rows were also equipped with folding writing tablets. Ideal when using a tablet or laptop. The projection screen has a width of 5 meters. The ceiling-mounted professional 4K UHD Epson projector has HDR and 3LCD technology and supports 3D active glasses. The sound is produced by a Denon amplifier with active SVS speakers with Dolby Atmos Surround. Together these provide a breathtaking audiovisual experience. There are two desks and one chair available if necessary. The lighting is functionally adjustable and microphones are not required as the room acoustics are perfect…
Our cafeteria, or Astrocafé with 36 seats and games corner, has the same stylish white tables and chairs as the ‘Sputnik Lab’ workshop space and has a well-equipped bar with an extensive range of beers and soft drinks. There is also a sound system available. Here too, one looks out over the ‘Nieuwe Prijs’ park… During the summer months, from April 1 to September 31, we provide a spacious terrace with 40 seats in the form of designer terrace tables and chairs as well as lounge sets with side tables under three very spacious parasols. We work together with a recognized professional caterer with an extensive range. Food trucks can be provided, on your own initiative, after consultation and approval. Your own contribution of drinks and/or food is not permitted!
The prices below are calculated per part of the day, being four hours in the morning (8 a.m. to 12 p.m.), afternoon (1 p.m. to 5 p.m.) or evening (6 p.m. to 10 p.m.) and include one Astropolis employee. You must clean up yourself. If you wish, we can provide cleaning for 50.00 Euro per room. A deposit of 150 must be provided per rented space.
